Attendees
Each session is organized for the attendees of Group HEC MBA program as for attendees in MBA exchange programs. Since it was launched, the seminar is one of the “must” of the “electives” of the MBA program.
Objectives
In this seminar, the attendees become more conscious of the ethical stakes of their business practices and learn how to assess their responsibilities as managers.
In the specific context of the monastery of Sereys (Haute- Loire) they will experiment a distant point of view to think and exchange about the signification of management practices and their impact.
Agenda
Created on an interactive mode, the seminar is built on basis of the questions and past and current professional experiences of the attendees.
The current stakes between ethics and performance are the main issues discussed in the seminar. As a manager, whom do I have to serve ? My C.E.O ? Shareholders ? Employees ? Common interest ? Does the concept of sustainable development suppose a new link with ethics ? Is management in complexity or in hard competition consistent with ethical rules and quality of behaviour ? How much does ethics cost What are the costs of non–ethical behaviour ? Is there a global ethics ? What are the roots of ethics ?
The seminar aims to help attendees to deepen their questions, and give them tools which will help them to take decisions in a complex environment.
Father Hugues Minguet will share his reflection and experience, built through contacts with many executives and companies.

A senior witness is invited at the end of each seminar, a member of the Research Unit of the “Institut Sens et Croissance” or a well known personality of the business world.
